THE HUMAN RESOURCES DEPARTMENT

Being forwardthinking we look for ways to improve the efficiency and effectiveness of processes for optimal success. The HR Team enjoys partnering with departments to assist in areas including but not limited to: employee training and development succession planning employee engagement performance management recruitment and selection onboarding leave of absence benefits administration workers compensation public liability general insurance City and special event insurance and safety awareness and training including compliance with Occupational Safety and Health Administration (OSHA) guidelines and employee wellness programs.

Education and/or Experience:
Graduation from an accredited four 4 year college or university with a major in human resources business administration or a closely related field and at least two 2 years of progressively responsible experience in human resources management; or an equivalent combination of education training and experience. Any combination of education and/or experience that has provided the knowledge skills and abilities necessary for satisfactory job performance.
Example combinations includetwoyears of increasingly responsibleprofessional experience performing administrative human resources risk management or similar analysis/duties including or supplemented byabachelorsdegreeinHuman Resources Risk Managementpublic administrationorganizationaldevelopmentor a related field.
