As the next statewide ancillary structures assistant program manager you will be responsible for:
- Being a part of the statewide structural authority for MDOTowned ancillary structures.
- Leading the ancillary structure team with innovative design construction and preservation of Michigans structural assets.
- Serving as the departments statewide ancillary structures development specialist and consultant project manager.
- Managing the inspection asset management and design activities for ancillary structures including retaining walls traffic signals and ITS structures.
- Managing the preparation of plans specifications and reports and performing research and training.
- Reviewing plans for ancillary structure road and bridge design projects.
- Managing consultant contracts for innovative solutions.

Required Education and Experience
Education
Possession of a bachelor of science degree in engineering.Experience
Four years of professional experience equivalent to a Transportation Engineer including two years equivalent to a Transportation Engineer P11 or one year equivalent to a Transportation Engineer 12 or Transportation Engineer Licensed 12.Additional Requirements and Information
To be considered for this position you must:
- Possess a registered professional engineering license as required by the State of Michigan.
- Possess a valid drivers license.
- If applicable attach a copy of your official college transcripts and/or foreign degree evaluation with your application. Applicants who possess foreign degrees must have their academic credentials evaluated or converted into U.S. educational equivalents.
