Job Description
Role Overview:
EXL is looking for a strategic and experienced Vice President to lead its Insurance Analytics & AI delivery and growth charter for key P&C insurance clients in the US based out of Gurgaon India. This leadership role will be instrumental in delivering advanced analytics AI/ML solutions and digital transformation initiatives in the P&C domain.
The VP will drive offshore delivery excellence ensure highvalue outcomes for clients foster innovation and lead a large team of domain and analytics professionals.
Key Responsibilities:
Client Leadership & Delivery:
- Lead delivery for a portfolio of USbased P&C insurance accounts serving as the seniormost offshore leader.
- Own strategic program across functions such as underwriting pricing claims reserving and fraud.
- Ensure delivery excellence proactive governance and continuous value delivery.
Analytics & AI Strategy:
- Design and lead implementation of advanced analytics and AI/ML solutions for key insurance use cases: pricing loss prediction claims automation retention modeling customer segmentation etc.
- Partner with client stakeholders and EXLs onshore leaders to drive innovation and solutioning.
- Promote adoption of cloudbased analytics platforms and scalable data architectures.
Team & People Leadership:
- Lead mentor and grow a highperforming analytics delivery team of data scientists actuaries engineers and domain experts in Gurgaon.
- Foster a strong performance culture focused on business impact innovation and talent development.
Account Growth & Transformation:
- Identify opportunities to expand services influence roadmaps and cocreate new solutions with clients.
- Partner with business development and solution teams to support proposals RFPs and client presentations.
- Drive digital transformation initiatives across legacy modernization predictive decisioning and workflow automation.
Required Skills & Experience:
- 15 years of total experience with at least 10 years in analytics consulting or delivery roles in the P&C insurance domain.
- Deep understanding of P&C insurance (personal/commercial lines claims rating reserving underwriting).
- Proven track record in delivering analytics/AI projects in a global delivery model including clientfacing exposure to USbased insurers.
- Experience with tools such as Python R SQL SAS Tableau/Power BI and cloud platforms (AWS Azure GCP).
- Strong leadership communication stakeholder management and problemsolving skills.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Bachelors/masters in engineering Statistics Mathematics Economics Actuarial Science or Data Science.
- MBA or Actuarial certifications (ACAS/FCAS) are a strong plus.
Experience working directly with Clevel executives at large US insurers is highly desirable.
