Head Chef
25500 per annum
Our client a calm and peaceful 25 bedded Care home is looking for a passionate hardworking Head Chef to join the team. The role offers a salary of 25500 per annum for 40 hours a week with a 7:00 am start. The ideal candidate will be dedicated to creating nutritious and delicious meals for the residents and have strong leadership skills to manage the kitchen team.
What Were Looking For
- Proven experience as a Head Chef particularly in a care home or similar environment
- Certification in food safety and kitchen management
- Strong knowledge of nutrition and dietary requirements especially for elderly residents
- Excellent leadership and communication skills
- Ability to work well under pressure and handle multiple tasks efficiently

Responsibilities
- Creating and executing menus to meet the dietary and nutritional needs of the residents
- Overseeing kitchen operations including food preparation cooking and serving
- Managing inventory orders and budget to maintain costeffectiveness
- Training and supervising kitchen staff to ensure highquality food production and service
- Adhering to health and safety regulations and maintaining kitchen cleanliness
