Job Description
Seacoast Classical Academy provides a rigorous academic program for families seeking a worldclass education through a classical liberal arts curriculum emphasizing excellent character education. We look for exceptional teachers and administrators who strive to demonstrate that excellence in themselves and expect it from their colleagues and scholars. Ultimately this living of virtue will make a lifechanging difference in the lives of children and their families. The schools programming is directed toward scholars who seek a rigorous education and are ready to work hard and do their part. We are dedicated to classical education and promoting superior educational results. The Hillsdale College K12 Curriculum is the curriculum of Seacoast Classical Academy serving grades K9 (scaling to K12 in three more years).Preferred Qualifications we would like our educators to possess are: Bachelors Degree in Education NH Certification Other relevant experience Prior experience with the Hillsdale K12 curriculum classical education charter schools And most importantly a passion for of the Guidance Counselor Promote a positive learning environment for all scholars while managing scholar conduct eff ectively. Support learning English language proficiency building social skills obtaining school supplies and more to meet the educational needs of scholars including those who are educationally disabled economically disadvantaged atrisk or socially struggling. Serve as case manager for Section 504 plans. With parent approval connect disadvantaged scholars with local resources and programs to promote learning and wellbeing. Uphold family rights through transparency accountability family privacy and classroom neutrality. Uphold the Academy virtues and collaborate in maintaining safety and security. Participate in professional development and mentoring. Perform other duties assigned by the Principal.
