Job Description:
Hitachi Rail is looking for an enthusiastic selfmotivatedv Junior Fire Safety Engineer who thrives in a fastpaced environment. The successful candidate is comfortable performing a wide range of tasks from administrative to strategic. The position is based in Pistoia IT

Accountabilities
- Ability on the use of the fire safety requirement management with DOORS;
- Management of Fire Safety documentation .
- Collaborate with the subproject groups (internal and external) and ensure the development of the assigned project part;
- Be the referent for internal and / or external resources involved in fire safety design project team and will be responsible for coordinating the whole team.
Required Skills/ Knowledge
- Ability to perform the aforementioned tasks as described in section above
- Degree in mechanical engineer or diploma in Technical Institute with a specialisation in Mechanics
- Availability for short domestic and overseas trips.
Desired Skills/ Knowledge
- Knowledge of EN45545 standard.
- Knowledge on TSI
- Analytic approach
- Teamworking attitude
- Flexibility
- Result orientation
- Experience in railway vehicles projects.
Education / Qualifications
Degree in mechanical engineer or diploma in Technical Institute with a specialisation in Mechanics
Languages
Knowledge of written and spoken English at least B2 level
