The Opportunity
As a Product Security Engineer at Adobe youll be at the forefront of redefining digital experiences by ensuring outstanding security. This outstanding opportunity allows you to collaborate with ambitious teams across the company to greatly improve the security of our products. Your role will be pivotal in successfully implementing security strategies influencing security culture and competing with worldclass standards in the industry. This position requires deep technical expertise strong leadership skills and a proactive approach to identifying and mitigating security risks. Your role will involve defining security requirements helping with critical issues and fostering positive practices throughout the organization. What Youll Do
Strategic Leadership & Collaboration
Work closely with engineering leadership product teams and customerfacing teams to integrate security into the software development lifecycle and support processes.
Act as a trusted security advisor offering mentorship on security architecture risk management and standard methodologies.
Serve as a liaison between securityfocused teams (AppSec OpSec Threat Intel Red Teams etc. and product engineering teams.
Security Strategy & Risk Management
Identify assess and prioritize security risks across products and infrastructure.
Define security requirements for products services and infrastructure while balancing security with business and engineering objectives.
Lead security design reviews and threat modeling exercises for highrisk features and architectures.
Incident Response & Escalations
Leading security blocking issues and providing technical leadership during highpriority incidents.
Coordinate forensic analysis root cause investigations postincident reviews and communications to improve security resilience.
War Games & Security Simulations
Plan and lead team exercises such as tabletop simulations and adversarial attack simulations to test security defenses.
Analyze findings from war games and translate them into actionable improvements.
Security Advocacy & Thought Leadership
Write technical articles research papers and internal documentation to elevate security awareness across engineering teams.
Present findings and recommendations to executive leadership and various engineering teams.
Advocate for secure development standard methodologies and promote a culture of security throughout the organization.
Process & Tooling Improvements
Help define security processes runbooks and policies to improve security operations and response.
Drive the adoption of security tooling and automation to enhance security visibility and efficiency.
Collaborate with compliance and governance teams to ensure regulatory and industrystandard alignment.
Qualifications & Experience
Expertise in security principles across application security cloud security network security and incident response.
Strong understanding of modern software development practices CI/CD and DevSecOps principles.
Experience leading security assessments threat modeling and architecture reviews.
Proven track record to work multifunctionally with engineering product and leadership teams.
Strong written and verbal communication skills with the ability to articulate sophisticated security concepts to both technical and nontechnical audiences.
Experience with regulatory compliance and security frameworks.
Deep knowledge of security testing methodologies attack techniques and red teaming strategies.
Preferred Qualifications
Handson experience with security tooling automation and offensive security techniques.
Certifications such as CISSP OSCP and CISM are a plus.
Experience contributing to opensource projects or publishing security articles.

The U.S. pay range for this positionis $160900 $297400 annually. Paywithin this range varies by work locationand may also depend on jobrelated knowledge skillsand experience. Your recruiter can share more about the specific salary range for the job location during the hiring process.At Adobe for sales roles starting salaries are expressed as total target compensation (TTC base commission) and shortterm incentives are in the form of sales commission plans. Nonsales roles starting salaries are expressed as base salary and shortterm incentives are in the form of the Annual Incentive Plan (AIP).
In addition certain roles may be eligible for longterm incentives in the form of a new hire equity award.
