GEs Power Conversion business part of GE Vernova provides electrification systems that are critical to customers power and energy needs for their highperformance applications. We work with some of the worlds major energy maritime and industrial organizations helping to enable a transition to energy efficiency and decarbonization including through our specialist motors drives and control technologies.

Job Description

We are looking for a skilled and curious engineer to join our Dynamic Positioning (DP) systems engineering team in Rugby.

As a member of our multidisciplinary team of engineers you will be responsible for all tasks related to software design implementation and testing of Marine Automation and DP systems for marine offshore and naval applications.

DP systems are essentially computercontrolled autopilot systems for seafaring vessels or marine floating constructions. They maintain set course or position using propulsion units to counteract the effects of displacing forces such as wind current and wave action.
