ToyotasHuman ResourcesDepartment is looking for a passionate and highly motivatedTeam Member Relations Analyst.
The primary responsibility of this role is to appropriately interpret and consistently apply policies and procedures within assigned divisions across all levels.
Reporting to the Team Member Relations Manager the person in this role will support the Team Member Relations departments objective to develop and maintain positive employee relations and assure that the management team understands the intent and spirit of Toyota Human Resources policies.
This onsite position is based at our manufacturing facility in Liberty North Carolina. The selected candidate will be expected to reside within commutable distance of this location. Relocation assistance is available for this position (if applicable).
This is an overnight shift position; typical hours are 11:00 PM to 7:00 AM with some possible flexibility on the start and end time of the shift. The work schedule is Monday through Friday and will require weekend coverage on alternating weekends.
What youll be doing
Responsible for ensuring positive employee relations
Conducts investigations of workplace policy violations
Applies policies and procedures across organization
Interprets policies and changes to policy
Seeks ways to proactively improve organizational processes and outcomes
Applies experience and expertise to research solutions
Reports trends to HR leadership
Support and implement HR technology plans
Recommends policy changes to support business needs
Assisting all levels of the organization with concern resolution / team member issues
Train coach and provide guidance to supervisors on HR policies procedures and applicable laws
Act as a business partner to all levels of management
Implementing corrective action when applicable
Group Leader policy training
What you bring
Bachelors degree (or higher) or equivalent professional work experience relevant to this position
Demonstrated professional experience in an employee relations/team member relations role in a manufacturing environment
Proven ability to work independently to develop solutions for complex problems based on facts experience and judgment
Experience in preparing documentation presenting and gaining approval for corrective action recommendation
Experience managing conflict resolution
Experience having responsibility for confidential documentation
Experience in a customer service role (daily face to face communication with customers)
Experience managing multiple daily tasks and projects with minimal direction
Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite (Excel PowerPoint)
Ability and willingness to work overnight shift typically 11:00 PM to 7:00 AM and alternating weekends
Ability and willingness to cover other shifts when needed
Ability to work from multiple areas of a large manufacturing facility including but not limited to attending inperson meetings held at various locations throughout the facility engaging with employees working in different areas throughout the facility etc.
Added bonus if you have
Bachelors degree (or higher) specifically in a Human Resources closely related field
Human Resources experience
PHR SPHR SHRMCP SHRMSCP certification
Six Sigma certification and/or Toyota TBP problem solving completion through panel
Experience in an automotive manufacturing environment
