Job Description

Supervisor: Principal

Salary Range:QESA Salary Schedule
Location/Assignment: QHSAssessment Coordinator

Condition of work: 195 wk days/7.5 hrs/day



SUMMARY:

Coordinate sitebased administration of local and state assessments 50; Provide administrative support to various positions and departments. Duties include but are not limited to answering/screening phone calls and visitors scheduling appointments preparing documents and reports receiving and responding to inquiries and requests entering and retrieving data using the computer and/or the district student information system.

ESSENTIALFUNCTIONS:

  • Ensure staff are trained and understand the latest district and state assessment guidance.
  • Support and provide professional development to district and building teams for data and assessments.
  • Assists with communication of assessments results for all stakeholders.
  • Maintains records of deficiencies. Notifies staff and students of credits and courses needed.
  • Export and import data through various digital databases.
  • Manage digital account access and rostering to local and state platforms.
  • Track completion of compliance documentation and complete state reporting as required by state and federal agencies.
  • Attend and participate in a variety of (statemandated and districtprescribed) activities to enhance personal and professional skills.
  • Collaborate with staff to ensure teams have the data and resources needed.
  • Maintain a high level of effective communication with a variety of stakeholders to ensure key deadlines and processes are met and followed through.
  • Assists with communication and distribution of assessments results for all stakeholders
  • Support implementation of district and state assessments.
  • Maintains records of deficiencies. Notifies staff and students of credits and courses needed.
  • Registers students for classes and assists students with schedule changes.
  • Prepares schedule assists in building master schedule receives registration data maintains records and schedules. Resolves scheduling conflicts.
  • Responsible for evaluating and updating transcripts as well as milestones.
  • Generate data reports related to progress towards graduation requirements.
  • Assist in credit evaluations.
  • Perform related tasks consistent with the scope and responsibility of the position.
  • Must have good human relations and interpersonal skills demonstrated ability to keep confidentiality and show initiative when appropriate.
  • Other duties as assigned by the Principal

QUALIFICATIONS:

  • Minimum of 3 years developing technical skills with expertise using MS Office Suite (especially MS Excel) and fluency navigating digital platforms.
  • Have experience with knowledge of and skill in supporting colleagues in gathering and utilizing data.
  • Ability to synthesize large amounts of information and communicate highlights effectively.
  • Ability to learn various data management systems for entry of assessmentrelated information and export of data.
  • Experience in a K12 educational system preferred.
  • Experience or willingness to learn Site Assessment Coordinator responsibilities including learning updated state requirements communicating updates to and training requirements tracking compliance and other duties as needed.
  • Ability to participate in ongoing professional development activities such as OSPI conferences/webinars professional associations workshops and inservice.
  • Ability to perform all duties in accordance with applicable Board policies and district and legal requirements.
  • Ability to maintain confidentiality in all situations and possess great human relations and interpersonal skills and take initiative when necessary.
  • Ability to meet and maintain punctuality and attendance expectations.
