Were seeking a Training & Development Manager to envision and lead the development and facilitation of a comprehensive faculty and staff professional development program including for online teaching and learning. The manager will identify training needs and collaborate with subject matter experts staff and faculty to design opportunities for the LATC team to be the best at their craft.

QUALIFICATIONS:
- Bachelors degree required. Masters degree in education training & development or related field preferred.
- Minimum of five years experience in teaching training adult education instructional coaching and/or learning design required.
- Experience teaching supervising employees in a technical field mentoring or leading professional development programs.
- Excellent communication and people skills.
- Affinity for working with colleagues in a fastpaced and everevolving environment to support students.
- Ability to analyze resolve and develop longterm solutions to a wide variety of complex issues.
- Bilingual a plus.
- National Career Readiness Certificate level Gold or higher a plus.
REPORTS TO: Dean of Academics
RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Develop a comprehensive professional development program to foster continuous improvement including effective instructional techniques to improve student outcomes and monitoring industry trends to align education with the workforce expectations.
- Coordinate faculty and staff orientation onboarding and offboarding programs.
- Lead new faculty adjunct faculty and staff mentorship programs.
- Interview and hire adjunct faculty as needed.
- Coordinate leadership training and team building experiences for all faculty staff and administration.
- Manage the instructor certification and credentialing process. Lead the Credential Committee.
- Plan professional development sessions aligned with the colleges strategic initiatives.
- Guide instructors in designing courses for on campus and online delivery and assist faculty with LMS technology usage.
- Observe faculty and provide constructive feedback to improve instructional methods on all modes of instruction including classroom lab and online.
- Contribute to the development of plans of improvement and guide and observe faculty as they meet the stated plan goals in collaboration with the Dean of Academics.
- Work with administrators faculty and staff to identify assess and adapt emerging research practices and technologies for improving the colleges results.
- Assist with institutional and program accreditation processes curriculum design new program development student assessments and data analysis.
- Other duties as assigned.
SALARY RANGE: $66030 $83400 depending on qualifications. Highly competitive benefits package.
TERMS OF EMPLOYMENT:
210 day contract with salary and benefits set by the Watertown School Board.
