GENERAL STATEMENT OF THE FUNCTION

QUALIFICATIONS REQUIREMENTS
To perform this job successfully an individual must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily. EDUCATION AND/OR EXPERIENCE
Masters degree or higher
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES include the following. Other duties may be assigned.
Maintain knowledge of diversityrelated issues legislation and best practices.
Other duties may be assigned.
Implements the specific aims of the College and Department byMaintain current credentials as required in respective field.
Successfully complete New Online Instructor Training.
Attend meetings as required by Dean of eLearning or department chairs to include continued professional development and trainings.
Utilize the college email system and messaging systems through the learning management system for communication with students and staff. Adhere to the 48hour policy regarding communication during an instructional period. Use teaching techniques that include the effective utilization of resources that motivate students to achieve their potential specifically the required use of the colleges learning management system.
Provide necessary information for students. This information would include standardized syllabi information.
Submit necessary instructional information in a timely manner to include reporting no shows attendance/grade reports audit verifications course/instructor evaluations etc.
Adhere to the calendar for online courses
Participate in student/teacher and faculty/administrator evaluations and performance review conferences.
Develop personal and professional improvement plans in those areas deemed necessary as a result of evaluations.
Include effectiveness measures in teaching and report data as directed; coordinate and implement measures as directed by department to respond to information from student learning outcomes/institutional effectiveness results
Utilize appropriate processes for the use of proctored testing in online courses
Maintain general knowledge about the colleges operating procedures to assist students in navigating college requirements.
