Lets do this! Lets change the world! In this vital role the Associate Director Events will lead the strategic planning and delivery of Amgens corporatelevel events ensuring they are impactful innovative and aligned with corporate objectives. This role will be responsible for internal and external events including leadership meetings allemployee town halls and special initiatives to foster connection alignment and engagement across Amgens workforce and stakeholders. The Associate Director will manage event operations logistics and creative elements ensuring excellence in delivery. Specifically this individual will lead biannual meetings of Amgens Officers annual meetings of Executive Directors and Officers as well as select corporate sponsorships.

Basic Qualifications:
Doctorate degree and 3 years of corporate communications experience
Masters degree and 7 years of corporate communications experience
Bachelors degree and 9 years of corporate communications experience
Associates degree and 12 years of corporate communications experience
High school diploma / GED and 14 years of corporate communications experience
Preferred Qualifications:
Degree in public relations communications journalism or related field
Experience working inhouse or within a creative agency
Hands on experience producing live events including managing logistical teams and creative content
Strategic and creative thinker
Ability to interact with all levels of management and manage staff and vendors
Excellent interpersonal skills; enthusiastic team player and selfstarter
Strong organizational and project management skills with exceptional attention to detail.
Ability to manage multiple tasks and priorities under tight deadlines.
Problemsolving mindset with the ability to adapt quickly to changing circumstances.

The expected annual salary range for this role in the U.S. (excluding Puerto Rico) is $130499 to $162909. Actual salary will vary based on several factors including but not limited to relevant skills experience and qualifications.
