Job Description
As a Software Development Engineer II within the AGI Security team you will build security tooling and paved path solutions that ensure AGI large language models and applications are designed and executed with the highest security standards to maintain customer trust. You will contribute to all parts of the software development and deployment lifecycle including ideation design development documentation testing and operations of stateoftheart solutions at Amazon scale. You will partner with applied scientists security engineers and software engineers to develop innovative technologies to solve some of our hardest security problems and build paved path solutions that support the AGI Team in their model development journey enabling them to accelerate the pace of innovation to delight our customers

3 years of noninternship professional software development experience
2 years of noninternship design or architecture (design patterns reliability and scaling) of new and existing systems experience
Experience programming with at least one software programming language
3 years of full software development life cycle including coding standards code reviews source control management build processes testing and operations experience
Bachelors degree in computer science or equivalent

Our compensation reflects the cost of labor across several US geographic markets. The base pay for this position ranges from $129300/year in our lowest geographic market up to $223600/year in our highest geographic market. Pay is based on a number of factors including market location and may vary depending on jobrelated knowledge skills and experience. Amazon is a total compensation company. Dependent on the position offered equity signon payments and other forms of compensation may be provided as part of a total compensation package in addition to a full range of medical financial and/or other benefits.
