Job Description
Job Title: Athletic Coach at Mooresville Middle School
Qualifications: Coaching experience
Reports to: Principal Athletic Director
Duties and Expectations:
- The Coach will be expected to exemplify high moral character behavior and leadership adhering to strong ethical and integrity standards.
- The Coach has the responsibility for the overall operation while working with the Athletic Director and Principal of their athletic program in accordance with Mooresville Graded School District and North Carolina DPI rules and regulations.
- The Coach will demonstrate enthusiasm for coaching and learning promoting the student above the athlete for all studentathletes. This includes encouraging and promoting studentathletes to continue their careers at the high school level.
- The Coach will consistently work with all school and community stakeholders to support and promote the athletic programs at Mooresville Middle School.
Evaluation and Measurement of Performance: All athletic coaches are evaluated using a districtwide evaluation tool along with formal and informal observations by the Principal and Athletic Director.
