Overview

Kessler Rehabilitation Center

Outpatient

Position: Human Resources Assistant

* Bachelors degree and prior HR field experience preferred*

Pay: $2023 hourly depending on experience

Status: FullTime NonExempt (hourly)

Location: 1050 Wall Street West Lyndhurst NJ

Responsibilities

The HR Assistant must possess good organizational skills and possess the ability to handle information in a confidential manner. This person will have a pleasant personality with the ability to establish good working relationships with varying personalities (coworkers management the public). This position requires the ability to perform office work directly related to management policies or general business operations must exercise discretion and independent judgement provide regular and direct assistance to executives and perform work special assignments and tasks under only very general supervision.

Focus areas for this position Include:

  • New hire onboarding and orientation
  • Assist with employee engagement initiatives and events
  • Collaborate with recruitment and marketing teams to manage social media platforms assist with screening candidates and resume review
  • Conduct compliance audits
  • Assist with project management and other duties as assigned
  • Carryout administrative functions such as recording and filing applicants and associates updated documents

Qualifications

  • High school diploma required Bachelors Degree preferred.
  • Experience with microsoft office functions required.
  • Ability to work independently required.
  • The HR Assistant must have word processing skills ability to prioritize judgement and decision making abilities and must have the ability to handle multiple projects and complete assignments in a timely fashion under frequent and numerous deadlines.
