Job Description
Job Title: Cloud Data Architect
Job Description:
We are looking for a highly skilled Cloud Data Architect to design and implement innovative cloudbased data solutions. As a key member of the team you will work closely with business stakeholders and technical teams to create scalable secure and efficient data architectures. Your deep knowledge of cloud platforms data architecture principles and leadership skills will be critical in driving data strategies that empower datadriven decisionmaking across the organization.
Key Responsibilities:
- Data Architecture Design: Lead the design and implementation of cloudbased data architecture strategies that align with business goals. Create scalable efficient and highperformance data models and frameworks that support organizational needs.
- Cloud Integration: Oversee the integration of data from multiple sources ensuring seamless data flow across cloud environments and between internal and external systems.
- Data Governance & Security: Develop and implement best practices for data governance data quality and security across all cloud data solutions. Establish policies and standards for data management to ensure compliance and integrity.
- Analytics Enablement: Work with data scientists analysts and other stakeholders to enable datadriven decisionmaking by optimizing data pipelines and improving data accessibility for analytics.
- Technology Evaluation & Selection: Stay ahead of industry trends by evaluating and recommending the latest data technologies tools and platforms. Enhance data management and analytics capabilities with cuttingedge solutions.
- CrossFunctional Collaboration: Collaborate with IT teams business leaders and data engineers to ensure that the data architecture aligns with organizational priorities and technical requirements.
- Leadership & Mentorship: Lead data architecture initiatives mentor team members and ensure clear communication and collaboration among stakeholders. Provide technical leadership and guidance to junior architects and engineers.
- Performance Optimization: Optimize cloud data systems for scalability performance and reliability. Proactively monitor data systems and address any issues or performance bottlenecks.
- Documentation & Knowledge Sharing: Create and maintain comprehensive documentation of data architecture including data flows models and technical specifications to ensure clarity and alignment across the organization.
Qualifications:
- Proven experience as a Cloud Data Architect or in a similar role with expertise in designing and implementing cloudbased data solutions.
- Strong knowledge of cloud platforms such as AWS Google Cloud Platform (GCP) or Azure.
- Extensive experience with cloud data architectures data integration and cloud data services.
- Expertise in data governance security and quality management in cloud environments.
- Strong background in database management including relational (MySQL PostgreSQL) and NoSQL databases.
- Proficiency in data modeling ETL processes and optimizing cloud data pipelines.
- Leadership skills with experience in mentoring teams and collaborating with crossfunctional stakeholders.
- Ability to solve complex datarelated challenges and optimize data systems for performance.
- Excellent communication skills both verbal and written to convey technical concepts to nontechnical stakeholders.
