Engineering associated with the manufacturing process. Impacts departmental operations and responsible for planning/. The role has some autonomy but is focused on of activities within an operating discipline covered by standard functional practices and procedures. Some judgment may be required but this is typically with guidance.

Job Description

Your Role:

  • Define and control production process including tooling and equipment. Validate design specifications and shop floor application of new product tools or equipment. Includes Manufacturing Engineers.
  • Developing indepth knowledge of a technical discipline. Uses prior experience and acquired technical expertise to execute policy/strategy.
  • Indepth understanding of key business drivers; uses this understanding to accomplish own work. Indepth understanding of how work of own team integrates with other teams and contributes to the area.
  • Uses some level of judgment and has ability to propose different solutions outside of set parameters but with guidance. Uses prior experience and onthejob training to solve straightforward tasks. Has access to technical skills and analytic thinking required to solve problems. May use multiple internal sources outside of own team to arrive at decisions.
  • A job at this level is likely to be an individual contributor with proven interpersonal skills or an early people leader who can hire and develop talent. Provides informal guidance to new team members

Required Qualifications:

  • Mechanical engineering degree from an accredited university or college (or a high school diploma / GED with at least 56 years of experience in power industry field.
  • Leadership experience with advanced technical skills.
  • Established project management skills.

Desired Qualifications:

  • Strong oral and written communication skills.
  • Demonstrated ability to analyze and resolve problems.
  • Good team player research and organizational skills keen to learn proactive attitude.
  • Excellent communication skills enthusiasm and commitment.
  • Proficient in IT systems with ability to learn and adapt to new systems quickly

The salary range for this position is $80000 to $90000 USD Annual. The specific salary offered to a candidate may be influenced by a variety of factors including the candidates experience their education and the work location. In addition this position is eligible for a 10 performance bonus.

*The Company pays a geographic differential of 110 120 or 130 of salary in certain areas.
