Job Description

WHERE YOU WILL WORK

Nike Adapt Distribution Center

165 Wingo Road Byhalia MS 386111

Shift: TuesdayFriday 8:00 pm 6:30 am

Starting Pay: $34.50 PER HOUR

WHO WE ARE LOOKING FOR

As a Maintenance Point Guard II (Maintenance Lead) you will be responsible for monitoring the activities of the team to ensure all repairs and installations are completed to an acceptable standard. Youll work in a comfortable climatecontrolled environment where safety is our top priority. Were also committed to helping you make sport a daily habit so our DCs also offer onsite gyms. WHAT YOU WILL WORK ON

Ensures that facility disruption due to equipment failure is kept to a minimum. Responds to major equipment breakdowns. Develops weekly schedules for planned maintenance assigns tasks and completes scheduled work ontime. Uses rootcause problem solving tools to develop corrective action plans. Tracks maintenance schedules maintenance hours spare parts consumption and warranty information. Performs administrative tasks to support maintenance record keeping in CMMS and spare parts storeroom locations. Can read and interpret technical drawings and works with Contractors as necessary to complete project work. Works with Contractors Equipment Rental Vendors and specialized MHE Trades as necessary. Provides leadership guidance and direction to maintenance team. Acts as the liaison between Maintenance & Ops. Develops team training requirements and initiatives to improve team productivity. Responds to major breakdowns and safety incidents. Ensures worksite locations in the shop and on the DC floor when cleaned up when repairs are complete. Leads safety training advanced skills training and crossfunctional process improvement initiatives. Ensures work is completed using appropriate safety guidelines.

WHAT YOU BRING

  • Ability to manage and supervise maintenance work on electrical mechanical and MHE systems

  • Ability to handle complex repairs with minimal supervision with the ability to train others

  • Four years experience as a Sr. Maintenance Technician in a distribution center or manufacturing environment

  • Ability to plan and assign complex repairs utilizing available resources

  • Knowledge of OSHA NFPA and general industrial safety programs

  • Preferred Education BS Degree or equivalent experience
