Job Description
The Dynamic HR team in Amazons People Experience and Technology organization is looking for a customerobsessed resultsoriented Program Manager to support our team. This role is focused on supporting Amazonians during unplanned events like disasters.
Key job responsibilities
The Dynamic HR Program Manager is driven to provide a highquality customer experience to fellow Amazonians impacted by unplanned events and in need of support. They are passionate about innovation and on a quest for continually improving the customer experience.
The ideal candidate has experience working crossfunctionally with global teams is an astute project manager inclined to take initiative and drive a project to fruition and has familiarity with payroll processes in the US and outside the US. This individual tackles problems with curiosity dives deep to find solutions and is able to swiftly reprioritize during times of disaster. Key to the success of this role is a candidate who thrives in a dynamic fastpaced and evolving environment.
This position will be integral to our team driving standardization and building related products and programs. This role will be tasked with building mechanisms policies and procedures that outline how we deliver support to Amazonians when unforeseen events take place.
A day in the life
As a Program Manager in Dynamic HR youll focus on delivering critical support services for Amazonians during unexpected events and disasters. Your day involves building and scaling global support mechanisms while collaborating with Tech Finance Tax Legal and Payroll teams. Youll dive deep into complex problems monitor ongoing initiatives and provide updates to senior leadership. Success requires strong project management skills proactive communication and the ability to navigate ambiguity. Youll spend time identifying process improvements standardizing global operations and innovating new solutions. Your curiosity and customercentric approach will help deliver bestinclass services for Amazonians worldwide.
5 years of program or project management experience
Experience using data and metrics to determine and drive improvements
Experience owning program strategy end to end delivery and communicating results to senior leadership
Knowledge of Excel at an intermediate level (e.g. pivot tables & charts multiple criteria lookups nested logical/IF formulas data cleansing array formulas etc.
5 years of driving process improvements experience
Writes effective communications accompanied by excellent verbal communication skills.
Exceptional project management driving and adhering to deadlines managing up down and laterally.
Demonstrates high judgment in every interaction from highly complex problems and escalations to daytoday service delivery.
Experience with writing playbooks creating mechanisms implementing trainings and launching companywide programs.
Uses Asana regularly as part of project management.

Our compensation reflects the cost of labor across several US geographic markets. The base pay for this position ranges from $104100/year in our lowest geographic market up to $185000/year in our highest geographic market. Pay is based on a number of factors including market location and may vary depending on jobrelated knowledge skills and experience. Amazon is a total compensation company. Dependent on the position offered equity signon payments and other forms of compensation may be provided as part of a total compensation package in addition to a full range of medical financial and/or other benefits.
