Job Description

Milton Town School District seeks a dynamic and dedicated Literacy Interventionist to join our talented team of educators for theschool year. This role focuses on supporting students through targeted literacy interventions credit recovery and shortterm transitions ensuring their academic and socialemotional growth. We are seeking candidates who align with our commitment to the wholechild framework and have experience supporting students general academic Responsibilities:
    Provide targeted interventions to students ensuring alignment with Common Core Standards.
      Utilize evidencebased researchdriven teaching practices including specially designed instruction.
        Implement differentiation strategies to meet the diverse learning needs of all students.
          Collaborate with classroom teachers and other staff to develop plans to support students who are in need of credit recovery or experience learning loss due to poor attendance.
            Foster a positive inclusive classroom environment that promotes both academic success and socialemotional development.
              Engage in ongoing professional development to stay current with best practices in literacy and math instruction.
