Job Description
Cleaners with light maintenance and repair work at Hope For Youth are primarily responsible for daily and deep cleaning of bathrooms kitchen/break rooms dry and wet mopping vacuuming counter/table tops windows and other cleaning assignments. Light maintenance and repair work includes but is not limited to painting gutter cleaning unclogging toilets grounds and assisting the maintenance team with projects as assigned.
To be a successful Cleaner you must be ready willing and able to do the following always:
the guidelines as outlined in the employee manual.
guidelines for regular routine cleaning schedules at all assigned facilities to maintain above minimum standards for cleanliness at all times.
able to work independently moving from job to job and documenting completion of work on required forms as directed by maintenance supervisor.
to work order requests/special cleaning instructions in a timely manner as determined by the maintenance supervisor.
necessary stay late/come in early or on evenings/holidays for emergencies such as: emergency cleaning needs and snow removal assistance.
6. Adhere to state regulations and applicable code of conduct including OSHA regulations.
7. Perform other resulting and necessary work to meet the needs and requirements of the clients the program Hope For Youth oversight agency and any other regulatory obligations
How you will spend your time in this job:
90 Cleaning with light maintenance and repair work (including documentation)
10 supervision/training/meetings
To qualify for this job you need to have:
Diploma or equivalent
to work flexible schedule/ including responding to emergencies
3. Physically capable to regularly lift move and use light and heavy equipment machinery tools and materials walk and stand for long periods crawl into tight spaces climb stairs and ladders bending/stooping kneeling/squatting reaching overhead driving own vehicle

This opportunity is being offered as fulltime 40hour work week SundayThursday 6:00am3:00pm
