The rate offered within this range will be based upon the geographic location work experience education licensure requirements and/or skill level. Hourly Rate:
$23 $27/hr.Purpose Statement: Contribute work output that aligns with the companys overall objectives and mission as communicated and prioritized by supervisor.
Overview
We are seeking a motivated and talented Embedded Cybersecurity Intern to join our dynamic team. This internship offers a unique opportunity to gain handson experience in the exciting field of embedded systems security. The ideal candidate will be a Junior Senior or Graduate student with a passion for cybersecurity and a strong technical foundation.
Responsibilities
Assist in conducting threat analysis and vulnerability assessments of embedded systems.
Participate in the development and implementation of security measures for embedded devices.
Support the testing and validation of security features and protocols.
Contribute to the research and development of innovative security solutions for embedded systems.
Document findings procedures and best practices.
Collaborate with the engineering team to troubleshoot and resolve security issues.
Qualifications
Currently enrolled as a Junior Senior or Graduate student in Computer Science Electrical/Computer Engineering Cybersecurity or a related field.
Proficiency in C/C programming.
Working knowledge of the Linux operating system.
Basic understanding of cybersecurity principles and threat analysis.
Strong problemsolving and analytical skills.
Excellent communication and teamwork abilities.
Ability to learn quickly and adapt to new technologies.
Preferred Qualifications
Experience with STRIDE and CVSS.
Experience with embedded systems development.
Familiarity with security testing tools and techniques.
Knowledge of network protocols and security concepts.
Proficiency in Additional Languages (Python Java C# etc)
