This is a unique opportunity to work with a collaborative team of sophisticated practitioners on highvalue complex estate planning matters for ultrahighnetworth individuals and families.
JD from a toptier law school with a strong academic record.
Active Bar Admission in Washington.
28 years of substantive transactional experience in estate planning and trust and estate administration.
Strong knowledge of federal estate gift and generationskipping transfer tax laws.
Experience with the structuring and implementation of sophisticated estate planning strategies including family limited partnerships grantor trusts GRATs and charitable planning.
Excellent written and verbal communication skills with the ability to explain complex legal concepts to clients and collaborate effectively with family office advisors and fiduciaries.
Advise highnetworth individuals and families on estate and tax planning strategies tailored to their specific needs and goals.
Draft a wide variety of planning documents including wills trusts powers of attorney and advanced directives.
Assist clients with the creation and administration of family offices and with planning related to closely held businesses private foundations and special assets such as art and real estate.
Represent fiduciaries in the administration modification and decanting of complex trusts.
Collaborate with attorneys in other practice groups to provide comprehensive multidisciplinary advice to clients.
