Community Specialist Intern
Looking for an Internship in an innovative highgrowth company in one of the hottest segments of the security market Look no further than Veracode!
Veracode is seeking a Community Specialist intern to join our 12week Summer Internship Program.
In this internship you will build a strong foundation in community management and content creation for diverse audiences and platforms. Veracodes community spans customers of all sizesfrom startups to large enterprisesas well as our internal teams. By collaborating across the organization the community team helps onboard and support customers while also connecting developers to valuable resources. Youll monitor and analyze activity within our forum community and the broader DevSecOps space ensuring Veracode stays current on the latest discussions and trends. Youll also gain handson experience in marketing content creation and social media. Throughout the program youll work closely with multiple departmentssales solutions architecture marketing customer success and product managementgaining a holistic perspective on Veracodes business and impact.

Key Aspects of the Role:
- Drive engagement in Veracodes community with conversation starters and assist customers with finding answers to their questions
- Track and report community engagement metrics (e.g. Google Analytics popular discussions or topics etc)
- Monitor cybersecurity/DevSecOps trends online (ex: r/Cybersecurity on Reddit YouTube BlueSky) and suggest topics for community discussions
- Conduct surveys or analyze feedback to improve the community experience
- Write outlines and/or copy for social media content including shortform videos and content for YouTube
- Consolidate competitive research and distill for actionable results
- Presentation of completed projects to the team
Requirements:
- Preferred Majors: Marketing Communications Public Relations Digital Media
- Knowledge of social media platforms and trends ex: Reddit YouTube Instagram Reels
- Experience as a passionate member of an online community
- Actively enrolled in an accredited college/university with an anticipated graduation date between December 2025May 2027.
- Must be able to work a 40hour work week (MondayFriday) between June 3rd August 22nd
- Must be legally authorized to work in the United States for any employer without sponsorship now or in the future.
