As a Senior Full Stack Engineer on the Transfer Flow team youll help shape the core orchestration layer that powers our global remittance experience. This team plays a critical role in promoting rapid product development and personalized customer journeys by building a reliable and scalable productplatform. In this full stack role youll work across the stack developing rich intuitive user experiences while also driving scalable backend architecture. Youll collaborate with product design and engineering partners to simplify complexity reduce technical debt and empower faster delivery of highimpact features across platforms. Youll report to the Engineering Manager for the Transfer Flow team.
This a hybrid role that requires 23 days onsite at our Seattle WA headquarters.
You Will:
- Solve technical challenges with a customercentric mindset.
- Design and implement solutions for ambiguous and difficult problems involving multiple technologies (TypeScript React Native Java/Kotlin Go) and systems.
- Guide the teams technical strategy while leading shipping and operating fullstack features and systems.
- Drive engineering excellence by delivering welltested observable documented efficient scalable and resilient solutions improving team processes and contributing to crossteam technical designs.
- Enhance team talent through mentoring code review interviewing and ramping new hires.
- Collaborate with other engineers product managers designers and analysts to achieve outstanding customer experiences.
You Have:
- Strong computer science web and native app fundamentals and knowledge of design patterns.
- 5 years of software development experience.
- Strong mobile app development (Android iOS or React Native) experience.
- Expertise in one of the following programming languages: TypeScript JavaScript Kotlin Java Go.
- Excellent collaboration skills.
Compensation Details. The starting base salary range for this position is typically $180000 $225000. In the U.S. Remitly employees are shareholders in our Company and equity is part of our total compensation plan.
