Job Description
Job Title: Senior Core Java Software Engineer
Duration: 12 months
Location: Boston MA or Needham MA
Onsite
MUST BE ABLE TO CONVERT FULL TIME DOWN THE ROAD WITHOUT ANY RESTRICTIONS. Typically 12 months contract to hire.
Looking for local candidates - Onsite In Boston or Needham 4 days per week. Must be in the office 4 days a week.
MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS
- Ideally 10 years of solid hands-on Java development exp - Core Java Spring Spring Boot multi-threaded applications concurrency Restful webservices Java 11 or higher
- Hands on with Object Oriented analysis design and modeling
- Experience Designing and developing complex Java based systems and components using the Spring Framework
- Integrating Java applications with relational databases (Oracle query tuning & optimization)
- Working with Java Virtual Machine JVM tuning Garbage Collection optimizing multi-threaded applications
- Effective application of Agile software development and testing methodologies
- Analyzing and resolving systems issues and recommending and implementing solutions to prevent recurrence
- AWS is a Strong
- Financial Services is a Strong
- Sentinel is a
- Investment Compliance is a
- ReactJS and related UI technologies are a plus
- GitHub Copilot experience is a
