• Assists with support of the Companys SOX program such as maintaining detailed documentation of SOX controls and process narratives.
• Prepares supporting documentation and electronic workpapers for test of design process walkthroughs. This includes documentation for new and modified processes as well as new acquisitions.
• Supports the coordination of SOX control testing across the enterprise working in conjunction with Process Leads in multifunctional groups; Collaborates with control owners and selftesters in global locations and coordinates with external auditors.
• Assists the Internal Controls team in researching and documenting SOX issues and tracking remediation to conclusion. Reviews findings from internal and external audits and facilitates the remediation plans
• Assists the Internal Controls team in evaluating processes for design deficiencies identifies areas of potential improvements and suggests controls enhancements to mitigate identified risks
• Participates in new acquisition onboarding activities and assists in the design of financial and IT processes including the evaluation of IT control environment and the development of internal controls

• Works closely with the Internal Audit Operations Business and IT departments in resolving financial control issues.
• Responsible for developing a working knowledge of the SOX applications Wdesk and Archer.
• Stays current with latest changes in external and internal compliance initiatives that may affect the organizations internal controls compliance.

EXPERIENCE AND EDUCATIONAL REQUIREMENTS:

• 2 years of experience.
• Understanding of internal control requirements (financial and system controls) US GAAP SOX and COSO
• Working knowledge of applications like Alteryx IDEA PowerBI preferred; coding experience is a plus
• Background in general accounting public accounting internal control and/or internal auditing.
• Bachelors degree in accounting or related discipline plus equivalent experience.
• Professional certification such as CPA CIA or similar preferred

MINIMUM SKILLS KNOWLEDGE AND ABILITY REQUIREMENTS:

• Selfstarter; Actively seeks opportunities to improve the SOX Compliance Program by sharing those recommendations for consideration as an agent for change
• Understanding of internal control requirements (financial and system controls) US GAAP SOX and COSO
• Working knowledge of data analytic applications (e.g. Alteryx IDEA PowerBI) is preferred. Coding experience is a plus.
• Strong audit and analytical skills
• Ability to communicate effectively both orally and in writing; ability to communicate with associates and management in a crossfunctional matrix organization; solid teamwork and interpersonal skills
• Excellent interpersonal communication and collaboration skills to successfully interact and influence employees
• Strong planning and organizational skills with attention to detail
• PC literate with ability to learn systems and processes quickly (SAP or Oracle EPM a plus)
