Job Description
Job Title:Senior Financial Accountant (CA)
Location: Cape Town Western Cape
Job Type: FullTime
A reputable firm based in Cape Town is seeking a qualified Senior FinancialAccountant (CA) to join their team. The candidate needs to have 3 years postarticles experience to join our finance team and will be responsible forfinancial reporting cash flow management tax compliance and supporting strategic decisionmaking across our group of companies.
Key Responsibilities:
- Prepare monthly management accounts and financial reports
- Manage cash flow forecasting and variance analysis
- Oversee VAT income tax and other statutory submissions
- Liaise with external auditors and manage annual audits
- Support budgeting and forecasting processes
- Contribute to systems improvement and process optimisation
- Assist with project finance funding drawdowns and cost tracking
Minimum Requirements:
- Qualified CA(SA) with 3 years postarticles experience
- Strong technical knowledge of IFRS tax and financial reporting
- Proven ability to manage deadlines and deliver in highpressure environments
- Advanced Excel skills (PivotTables lookups etc.
- Experience in property real estate or project accounting a strong advantage
- Familiarity with Xero Sage Evolution or similar ERP systems preferred
