Who Were Looking For:

Were seeking a motivated Property Manager Intern to support our property management team in the daytoday operations of affordable housing communities in Washington D.C. This is a handson opportunity to gain experience in the field of affordable housing and learn about HUD LIHTC and Section 8 programs. An MCN Build Property Manager Intern is detailoriented eager to learn and passionate about serving communities through highquality affordable housing.

What Youll Do:

Our new Property Manager Intern will assist with property operations and tenant relations gaining exposure to compliance procedures administrative functions and maintenance coordination. A day in the life of a Property Manager Intern involves supporting the property management team in resident communication organizing documents assisting with routine inspections and participating in resident engagement activities. You will also observe how leasing rent collection and compliance processes work. This role is ideal for someone interested in housing community development or public service and who enjoys working with people in a teamoriented environment.

What You Bring To The Table:

• Currently pursuing a degree in Property Management Business Administration Real Estate or a related field
• Organized with great attention to detail
• Interest in affordable housing and community development
• Experience with Microsoft Office (Word Excel Outlook)
• Strong communication skills
• Ability to work collaboratively with residents staff vendors and community partners

• Salary Range: $18.50
