Inviting applications for the role of Principal Consultant Automation tester Mobile Android
We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated Automation Tester with a focus on Mobile Android applications. The ideal candidate will have handson experience in mobile automation testing particularly for Android platforms and a strong background in test scripting test and reporting.
In this role you will be responsible for creating and executing automated test scripts ensuring the quality and reliability of our Android applications and working closely with the development team to ensure that all features meet high standards of performance and functionality.
Responsibilities
Design and maintain test automation scripts for Android apps.
Use tools like Appium Espresso or UI Automator.
Conduct regression and performance testing.
Report bugs and collaborate with developers.
Maintain test data and CI/CD integration.
Qualifications we seek in you!
Minimum Qualifications
Bachelors degree in Computer Science Information Technology or a related field.
Preferred Qualifications/ Skills
Proven experience as an Automation Tester with a focus on Mobile Android.
Strong knowledge of Android OS and the mobile testing lifecycle.
Expertise in automation tools such as Appium UIAutomator Espresso or Selenium.
Handson experience with Java Kotlin or similar programming languages for test scripting.
Familiarity with CI/CD pipelines and integrating automated tests into these workflows.
Experience with version control tools such as Git.
Strong analytical and troubleshooting skills with an attention to detail.
Ability to work in a fastpaced and agile environment.
Excellent communication skills both written and verbal.
