Job Description

Position Overview:
Under Quality Manager supervision you will play a critical role in ensuring that our products meet the stringent quality standards required for defense applications. You will be responsible for conducting inspections and evaluations of materials components and finished products to verify compliance with contract specifications industry standards and regulatory requirements.
Key Job Duties:
Conduct visual and dimensional inspections of incoming materials parts and assemblies according to established procedures and specifications in a high paced work environment.
Perform inprocess inspections at various stages of production to identify and address any quality issues or deviations from requirements.
Utilize precision measurement tools and equipment (e.g. calipers micrometers gauges) to verify critical dimensions and tolerances.
Document inspection results including nonconformances and corrective actions in accordance with established quality management systems.
Collaborate with production personnel engineers and other stakeholders to resolve qualityrelated issues and implement process improvements.
Support internal and external audits by providing documentation conducting audits and participating in corrective action activities as needed.
Adhere to all safety protocols and quality standards to maintain a safe and compliant work environment.
CMM Experience may be advantageous but are not required.
Experience/Skills Requirements:
Minimum 25 years experience in quality assurance or inspection.
Experience in industries with highquality standards is preferred such as aerospace defense automotive medical devices or manufacturing.
Prior experience in quality assurance or inspection role preferably in a manufacturing or defense industry environment.
Proficiency in reading and interpreting engineering drawings specifications and technical documents.
Strong attention to detail and ability to perform accurate and thorough inspections using various measurement tools and equipment.
Excellent communication skills both verbal and written with the ability to effectively communicate findings and collaborate with crossfunctional teams.
Familiarity with quality management systems (e.g. ISO 9001 AS9100 and relevant quality standards and regulations (e.g. MILSTD).
Ability to work independently with minimal supervision and prioritize tasks in a fastpaced environment.
Education Requirements:
High school diploma or equivalent; additional technical education or certification in quality assurance or related field is preferred.
