The Organization

Since 1981 Ronald McDonald House Charities (RMHC) Toronto has served as a place to call home for families with seriously ill children undergoing treatment. RMHC Toronto encompasses a House for 81 families in downtown Toronto and seven Family Rooms in hospitals across the Greater Toronto Area and in Sudbury. The families we serve come from throughout Ontario across Canada and around the world.

Within RMHC Toronto is an onsite private school which serves Junior Kindergarten to Grade 12 siblings and patients staying at the House. RMHC Toronto School compassionately provides a unique studentcentered learning environment to facilitate academic social and emotional success.

We are looking for a Supply Teacher to join our team in Toronto.

About the Opportunity

Reporting to the Principal the Supply Teacher is responsible for working collaboratively with the School team to manage a multigrade class of students in Grades JK12 with varying medical behavioral learning and emotional needs. The Supply Teacher ensures that all students are taught in a safe learning environment; creates a positive learning atmosphere; plans and delivers meaningful lessons; and ensures that the holistic development of students is priority.
