Job Description
Paul Mitchell the School Overland Park is seeking a qualified Clinic Floor Leader to join our team! With over one hundred schools nationwide Paul Mitchell Schools is growing faster than ever. Clinic and Classroom Learning Leader Role
The Clinic Floor Leader / Cosmetology Instructor runs and maintains all clinic floor sales operations and communication with the Service Desk Leader Sales Leader and Clinic Floor Learning Leaders. This is a salesfocused position requiring a strong knowledge of all Paul Mitchell hair care products Pro Tools TM and skin and nail products. The objective is to meet or exceed Take Home and service dollar goals by leading students and Clinic Floor Learning Leaders in the sales systems. He or she oversees that team members are managing their zones and inspects that no services guests are turned away for a service and that each receives the full service experience. Classroom Leaders plan and facilitate classes from a accredited and approved curriculum specific to Paul Mitchell Schools. The objective is to meet graduation requirements for hands on and theoretical knowledge in a fun and engaging classroom. Our school plans classes that cater to all multiple intelligences and learning styles.
What We Are Looking For:
The ideal candidate will have successful previous sales experience as well as experience with Paul Mitchell products. He or she must be selfmotivated to set meet and exceed goals as well as inspire inspect and coach team members in all clinic floor systems including upselling rebooking and guest service systems. This position requires experience in positive and effective communication customer service resolution teamwork and beauty product sales.
Skills/Competencies Required:
- Experience instructing at a cosmetology school or adequate experience in the industry
- Current cosmetology barbering esthetic or nail and instructor license ; or willingness to obtain through the school
- Excellent organization coaching and communication skills
- Skills in supervision teamwork documentation and return on investment
- Solid work history with verifiable references
- Passion for the beauty industry
- Honesty and professionalism
- Knowledge in Paul Mitchell Schools cultural and technical systems is preferred
