The Arizona Department of Corrections Rehabilitation & Reentry (ADCRR) is seeking an experienced and highly motivated individual to join our team as a Human Resources (HR) Analyst Intermediate.
Under the direction of the Human Resources Supervisor you will be responsible for inprocessing newly hired Cadets overseeing the completion of personnel and benefits related to new hire forms and completing I9 utilizing the EVerify System at the Correctional Officer Training Academy (COTA).

Oversees the completion of personnel and benefit related new hire forms for newly hired cadets
Completes the new hire I9 process utilizing the EVerify System
Keys new hires into the Human Resources Information Solution (HRIS) system and coordinates the uniform allowance advances with ADCRR Payroll
Processes cadet resignations and terminations
Assists newly hired cadets in the timely completion of Direct Deposit/CashPay forms and benefit and beneficiary enrollments via their YES portal
Creates a variety of reports to include Class Rosters and Weekly COTA Activity Report
Scans new hire paperwork to a shared file in preparation for supervisors audit
Assigns ADCRR badges to those graduating from COTA and updates tracks and reconciles ADCRR Badge inventory
Facilitates CPR tests and Oral boards
Attends meetings and travels/drives on State business as required
Performs other duties appropriate to the assignment
Knowledge of:

Two 2 years of experience in a State HR office inprocessing new hires and creating personnel and salary actions conducting personnel file reviews and running HRIS or related personnel web based reports
Working knowledge of EVerify systems
Employment is contingent on the selected applicant passing a background investigation.
In an effort to maintain a safe environment all employees are required to take a Tuberculosis (TB) test during their New Employee Orientation and every year thereafter.
If this position requires driving or the use of a vehicle as an essential function of the job then the following requirements apply. Any employee operating a motor vehicle on State business must possess and retain a current valid classappropriate drivers license complete all required training and successfully pass all necessary drivers license record checks. The license must be current unexpired and neither revoked nor suspended. Employees who drive on state business are subject to drivers license record checks must maintain acceptable driving records and must complete all required driver training. An employee who operates a personally owned vehicle on state business shall maintain the statutorily required liability insurance (see Arizona Administrative Code (A.A.C. R210207.11.

Enrollment eligibility will become effective after 27 weeks of employment.
