As the Senior Global Real Estate Manager at Micron Technology you will be responsible for managing the global real estate portfolio at one of the worlds largest semiconductor companies. You will guide market searches handle negotiations and drive deals for executive alignment and decisionmaking to lead the global real estate strategy (site selections relocations dispositions). You will also be responsible for overseeing the successful management and optimization of Microns existing portfolio across our manufacturing R&D and corporate sites.
This role is unique within Micron and provides an excellent opportunity to be a key enabler of the companys rapid growth in both the US and abroad. This is an exciting fastpaced area that is essential to the success of the company and has the attention of senior executives across Micron.
Responsibilities:
StrategyYou will build strategies to meet the real estate needs of the company in multiple aspects including cost timing location and quality. This will require detailed planning anticipating problems and formulating and implementing strategic ideas to address challenges.
Cross functional leadershipYou will lead a collaborative executive across the company to ensure Micron has the real estate resources to enable its business to thrive. You will lead a large cross functional team including Microns inside and outside Legal counsel Finance Operations Facilities and outside service providers.
CommunicationYour ability to effectively communicate with executives will be critical to your success in this role. Real estate deals often require significant executive attention and alignment. You will need strong presentations skills to clearly and succinctly communicate and build trust and confidence in your strategies and recommendations.
ManagementYou will need great management skills to succeed including excellent organizational skills attention to detail and ability to coordinate multiple activities simultaneously. Although this role does not have direct reports you will be responsible for leading crossfunctional teams to ensure the smooth of transactions that fulfill the companys strategic goals.
Financial and Contractual ExpertiseYou will conduct real estate specific financial analyses (NPV Total occupancy cost Breakeven etc. and oversee contractual negotiation. A thorough understanding of financial and legal details is essential for success in presenting to executives developing strategies and driving deals.
Additional Job Responsibilities:
Drive strategic real estate decisions and recommendations by understanding the technical requirements of our various teams (manufacturing facilities R&D) and developing solutions that meet business objectives
Conduct real estate specific financial analyses (NPV Total occupancy cost Breakeven etc. to assist in relevant decisionmaking
Prepare concise executivelevel presentations and lead internal and external meetings
Own portfolio management by tracking critical dates and lease clauses (renewals terminations other rights and options etc.
Lead and participate in adhoc real estaterelated projects across the company (housing infrastructure M&A activity community impacts etc.
Vendor Management of RealEstateBrokers Project Managers Outside Counsel etc.
Strong experience withglobalportfolio strategy & implementation
Minimum Qualifications:
Bachelor/Master degree in Real Estate Business Administration Economics Finance or a related field
Strong financial and business insight including budgeting forecasting and cost optimization.
Experience managing real estate portfolios for multilocation or global enterprises ideally in a corporate real estate environment
A passion for negotiation with strong problemsolving skills
Excellent presentation skills and project management experience
Possess excellent verbal and written communication skills and the ability to interact professionally with a diverse group of executives managers and subject matter authorities
Ability to work well in a dynamic environment that requires a high degree of multitasking with minimal direction
The US base salary range that Micron Technology estimates it could pay for this fulltime position is:
$107500.00 $243000.00Our salary ranges are determined by role level and location. The range displayed on each job posting reflects the minimum and maximum target for new hire salaries of the position across all US locations. Within the range individual pay is determined by work location and additional jobrelated factors including knowledge skills experience tenure and relevant education or training. The pay scale is subject to change depending on business needs. Your recruiter can share more about the specific salary range for your preferred location during the hiring process. Additional compensation may include benefits discretionary bonuses and equity.
