GENERAL INFORMATION: Seeking applicants with Ohio Early ChildhoodIntervention Specialistteaching license who have the ability to teach the Ohio Early Learning Content Standards using developmentally appropriate practices.
MAJOR RESPONSIBILITIES Partial List:
- Develops measurable educational goals and objectives based on assessment data and progress monitoring documentation.
- Knowledgeable about coteaching universal education and cotreating strategies.
- Participates in schoolwide professional development programs and activities.
- Communicates with parents and guardians of assigned students daily/weekly.
- Maintains records regarding student progress that is aligned with common core state standards.
- Provides a variety of instructional experiences for all students based on individual needs and ongoing data/progress monitoring.
QUALIFICATIONS Partial List:
- Valid Ohio teaching license (PreKindergarten Special Needs/Early Childhood of the Handicapped)
- Must pass criminal background checks and preemployment drug screening.
- Collaboration and problemsolving skills.
- Training and understanding of Early Learning Content Standards assessments and child development.
- Educational technology skills.
SALARY: According to the approved teacher salary schedule.
