Job Description
We are looking for a Head of financial reporting for subsidiaries for our office in Madrid.
Functions
Monitoring accounting of all subsidiaries within established deadlines and ensuring compliance with appropriate financial and regulatory standards.
Ensuring that all adjustments provisions and other accounting estimates are properly calculated and recorded for the groups subsidiaries.
Preparing annual accounts for the groups subsidiaries with the support of local advisors.
Supervising the auditing process for the groups subsidiaries external accounts and supporting the auditing process for the parent companys consolidated accounts.
Participating in the identification and implementation of process improvement initiatives that increase efficiency reduce processing time and decrease error rates especially those related to accounting monthly and annual closings reconciliations reports etc.
Providing technical leadership for team members.
Requirements
Degree in Business Administration or Accounting.
More than four years of experience auditing in a Big Four firm (senior level or equivalent).
Experience auditing multinationals.
Analytical skills.
Advanced Excel and ERP accounting skills experience with SAP 4/Hana would be an asset.
High level of English.
ASSETS:
Masters degree in auditing.
