Job Description
The Crawfordsville Distribution Center for Penguin Random House iscurrently seeking a skilled Industrial Maintenance Mechanic to join our growing organization.
In this role you will perform a combination of duties to construct install troubleshoot repair modify and maintain plant equipment and facilities. Prior experience working in facility maintenance is essential.
Proven skills relating to electrical construction with the ability to read schematics mechanical trades forklift/conveyor repair experience is a plus. Prior experience performing duties associated with Siemens or Allen Bradley Programmable Controllers or other relative PLCs is desirable but not required. Additional experience with other crafts such as carpentry plumbing painting masonry and welding will contribute to a wellrounded candidate.
Candidates musthave two or moreyears relevant experience possessbasic PC skills and be physically capable of performing heavy lifting. The availabilityto work overtime is essential.
The shift hours for this opportunity are Monday Friday 3:00pm 11:00pm. This shift also pays an additional 12.5 shift differential to boost your earnings.
