Job Description
Safely drive truck to transport plants to customers at specified locations
Verify shipments against invoices to insure quantities are correct
Obtain signed invoices and payments for materials
Perform all physical activities to load and unload trucks
Promote and maintain good customer relationships
Take an active role in communication and customer feedback to management including customer complaints requests and returns
Requirements:
Employee must possess a valid drivers license and have a clean motor vehicle record
Ability to pass DOT medical exam
Ability to perform physical requirements necessary to load and unload trucks i.e. standing walking bending twisting and lifting plant materials up to 100 lbs
Preferences:
Experience driving straight trucks flatbeds box vans or truck and trailer combinations
