THE BASICS
As a Weekend Residential Counselor you earn $18.50 $21.50/hour depending on experience and education. We sweeten the deal even more by offering a signon bonus of up to $2000and shift differentials! You earn an extra $3.00/hour for Saturday and Sunday. This position works overnight either from 7:00 PM 3:30 AM or 9:00 PM 5:30 AM on weekends.

WHAT TO EXPECT
As an entrylevel Weekend Residential Counselor you work closely with our students to help them overcome their individual challenges and increase their independence. You find the balance between appropriately meeting our students needs while allowing them to have some choice and control over their lives. Depending on the individuals needs you assist with caregiving tasks like cooking housework and personal hygiene. You also support their social and emotional growth by assisting them in making friends encouraging community engagement and supporting their involvement in recreational activities. No matter what youre doing you make a huge difference for our students!
REQUIREMENTS
- 18 years old
- Valid drivers license with good driving record
- Ability to stay awake during overnight shifts and work holidays as needed
- Ability to support daily living activities and perform physical interventions when necessary
- A mandatory 6 days of training is required with a schedule of Monday Friday 8:00 am 4:30 pm plus the following Monday.
A high school degree or equivalent would be preferred. Caregiving experience would be a bonus!
