Continental Properties is looking for an experienced Real Estate Paralegal to join our team at our Home Office in Menomonee Falls WI.
Continental Properties is a national leading developer of multifamily apartment complexes. You will report to our Legal Development Director and work with our inhouse attorneys to facilitate activities associated with commercial real estate development transactions. You will assist with transactions from the initial letter of intent through closing of the purchase financing development stabilization and refinancing or sale of the property.

Essential Responsibilities:
- Analyze title commitments analyze surveys and negotiate title exceptions and endorsements with title companies
- Prepare closing checklists and coordinate closing of real estate transactions
- Draft agreement closing documents abstracts escrow instructions and other legal documents
- Analyze legal documents and prepare summaries
- Prepare critical date checklists for purchase agreements and monitor all important date events
- Collaborate with internal legal counsel development teams and external title companies and law firms
- Conduct typical postclosing work including organization of closing book index and construction closeout tasks
- Support ongoing enhancements in legal workflows
Skills for Success:
- Minimum three 3 years paralegal experience in a commercial real estate environment either at a law firm inhouse law department or title company
- Strong understanding of commercial real estate development due diligence and closing transactions including extensive experience in title and survey review
- Excellent analytical organizational and attention to detail skills
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Ability to handle multiple projects prioritize work handle deadline pressures and sensitive information
- Ability to work well individually and also as part of a team
- Proficient in adopting and utilizing preexisting and new technologies to drive efficiency

We are committed to fair and equitable compensation practices. The posted salary range represents our good faith estimate of the base salary for this role at the time of posting. Final compensation is based on a variety of factors including a candidates experience skills qualifications and internal equity. This range does not include bonus potential or other forms of compensation and benefits.
Pay Range: $70000 $115000 per year
