What You Will Do:
The Advanced Material Specialist manages all aspects of warehouse operations including the receipt storage packaging and shipment of materials while ensuring inventory accuracy and compliance with procedures. This role also involves maintaining records preparing goods for shipment or production operating equipment as needed and supporting team training and warehouse efficiency.
- Unpacking and checking goods against purchase orders or invoices
- Maintaining records of received goods alerting appropriate personnel to inspect unsatisfactory items when necessary
- Lifting and moving heavy items and may operate an electric pallet jack
- Preparing and maintaining records of items shipped and will be required to comply with documentation and record keeping procedures
- Preparing goods for final shipment and/or production assembly
- Examining stock and/or distribute goods in inventory and/or in other areas
- Entering information into the inventory management system
- Assisting in the training of new and existing employees in distributionrelated tasks
What You Need:
Required
- High School Diploma or GED equivalent
- 2 years related distribution experience
Preferred
- Ability to operate common material handling equipment (e.g. hand truck scales label maker PC etc..
