Job Description
Position: Grinder Groover Equipment Operator
Location: Chicago Illinois
Full/Part Time: Full Time
Regular/Temporary: Regular
Diamond Companies has an immediate opening for grinder groover equipment operator. Must have a minimum of two 2 years experience working within the highway profile grinding industry with stable work history.
Position Functions:
- Operate & maintain specialized diamond bladed grinding and grooving equipment
- Operate semi truck with Class A CDL
- Operate water tanker
- Have the ability to fulfill timekeeping and production reporting administrative duties
- Be self motivated and dependable.
- Have a basic mechanical and technical aptitude
- Ability to travel often and work long hours
The optimal candidate will have experience with runway grooving concrete profile grinding bridge deck grooving and rumble strips. With the volume of projects our company has and the fact that we are a service focused company the ideal candidate must be flexible and eager to learn. A clean motor vehicle operators record and a valid driver license are a must. Diamond Companies. employees are expected to strictly adhere to the safety policies practiced throughout the construction industry.
Candidates Requirements:
- OSHA 10 Card.
- 1 3 years of experience operating specialized heavy equipment for grooving and grinding.
- CDL Class A license with tanker endorsement or have the ability to obtain one at the Companys request.
