Job Summary
Ensures that the Career and Technical Education (CTE) programs are supported with coaching and training for teachers. Assists Career and Technical Education Directors with management of programs operations.
Essential Functions
curriculum writing alignment and implementation of Career and Technical Education programs; models best practices.
as a liaison between the CTE office and the schools.
CTE in all aspects of design and implementation.
and/or conducts staff development for curriculum implementation of Career and Technical Education.
vision and goals to school faculty staff and builds CTE program support.
be willing drive to schools.
professional learning communities.
and assists with purchasing appropriate resources instructional materials supplies and equipment.
with marketing communication and recruitment efforts.
other duties as assigned.
Qualifications
Education:Bachelors degree from an accredited college or university(degree not required if applicant has a district vocational teacher certification).
Experience: Three 3 years successful teaching experience.
Certifications & Licenses: Florida Department of Education Certification in at least one subject areaor a district vocational teacher certification.
