Job Summary:
As a Warehouse Processor you will be responsible for interacting with internal departments (warehouse marketing and customer service) and be in contact with team members regarding the status of all incoming and outgoing shipments. You are responsible for managing the order flow (including orderentry) by tracking key ship dates lead times and orders in a timely manner.
Responsibilities:
- Order Selection and Shipping:
- Operates cart or pallet jack to pick product orders.
- Operates forklift reach truck or order picker to pick product orders
- Safely and efficiently organizes products into appropriate container and location for shipping process.
- Efficiently and thoroughly packs products to minimize damage.
- Prepares both company required shipping documentation per order and carrier manifests before product leaves premises.
- Inventory Control:
- Alerts management of inventory discrepancies. Takes action to locate inventory and/or correct system.
- Performs cycle counts on a scheduled basis records results and makes placement adjustments as necessary.
- Receives inbound product makes labels and puts away in appropriate location.
- Keeps supervisor informed of important developments potential problems and related information necessary for effective management.
- Keeps work area clean and organized. Actively participates in general warehouse cleaning and organization.
- Performs related work as apparent or assigned.
Qualifications and Skills

- At least 6 months of previous warehouse experience is necessary.
- Work well in a team environment as well as independently.
- Achieve designated performance objectives as assigned.
- Willingness to work in a fastpaced environment.
- Positive and energetic attitude.
- Strong organizational skills.
- Knowledge of and/or experience within the Lawn & Garden industry is a plus.
- Ability to communicate effectively both verbally and in writing with a wide variety of Company personnel.
- Demonstrates Northern Tool Equipments 12 Core Competencies.
