Who You Are
Are you a thoughtful creative diligent and curious battery modeling scientist or engineer
Or perhaps you have not been exposed to battery modeling but you have extensive experience in software development or data science
Are you excited at the prospect of helping to build the next generation of battery materials and technologies Sila Nanotechnologies is seeking a battery modeling scientist or software development engineer (multiple internship positions available) to:
- Help us build a transformative battery modeling interface
- Help develop electrochemical models and methods to understand the voltage vs charge characteristics of various chemistries
- Design and deploy electrochemical data analysis pipelines on a live database
- Leverage key insights from our battery models to accelerate learning cycles and reduce the cost of empirical R&D
Responsibilities and Duties
- Spend 6 months onsite at Sila to work exclusively on the assigned project; this is not a position for students only available for summer months
- Work closely with a scientist for technical aspects and also with a larger crosscompany team of diverse backgrounds to discover and communicate knowledge for the long term development of our next generation battery materials
- Help build and deploy data pipelines to automate battery analysis
- Help us build responsive modular & stable UIs for non technical audiences to interact with our battery models
- Invest in our values and champion them as we grow
