Overview:
We are seeking an experienced Pricing Executive/Asst. Manager for our Freight Forwarding specializing in import/export operations via air and sea. The successful candidate will be responsible for developing and implementing pricing strategies analysing market trends and ensuring competitive pricing for our services
Key Responsibilities
- Develop and manage pricing strategies for air and sea freight services considering market conditions competition and customer requirements.
- Analyse market trends competitor pricing and customer feedback to optimize pricing and improve profitability.
- Collaborate with sales and operations teams to ensure alignment with business objectives and customer needs.
- Negotiate with customers and vendors to achieve mutually beneficial pricing agreements.
- Prepare and maintain accurate pricing documentation including quotations contracts and rate agreements.
- Conduct costbenefit analysis and profitability assessments to inform pricing decisions.
- Stay uptodate with industry developments regulatory changes and market fluctuations that may impact pricing.
Requirements:
- 3 years of experience in pricing or a related role within the freight forwarding or logistics industry with a focus on import/export operations via air and sea.
- Proven track record of developing and implementing effective pricing strategies.
- Strong analytical and problemsolving skills with the ability to interpret complex data and market trends.
- Excellent communication and negotiation skills with the ability to build strong relationships with customers and vendors.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office particularly Excel and experience with pricing software or tools.
- Strong understanding of Incoterms tariffs and other relevant regulations governing international trade.
