Job Description
- Location: Rochester NY 14621
- Pay Rate: $70 $77/hr
- Shift: 10hr Days
- Guaranteed Hours: 40 per week
Responsibilities:
- Deliver safe quality cardiovascular perioperative nursing care to surgical patients
- Collaborate with surgeons anesthesiologists and surgical technologists in cardiovascular surgical procedures
- Prepare and maintain operating room with necessary surgical equipment and supplies
- Assist in preparing patients for surgery and postoperative recovery
- Monitor patient status intraoperatively and respond to emergency situations
- Use advanced surgical technology and robotics (e.g. da Vinci Rosa Monarch robots)
- Document procedures and care provided using EPIC EMR
- Administer moderate sedation and manage infusion pumps and other specialized equipment
- Follow infection control and safety protocols strictly
- Support team workflow and participate in oncall rotation
Requirements:
License:

Active RN license in New York
Certifications:
- AHA BLS (Basic Life Support) Required
- AHA ACLS (Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support) Required
Experience:

Minimum 2 years of Cardiovascular OR experience Required
Travel & Local Considerations:
- Candidates outside a 75mile radius qualify for travel pay.
