Job Description

Location: Mobile AL 36602
Job Type: PartTime
Reports to: Event Manager

Job Summary:
We seek friendly professional dependable Bilingual Banquet/Catering Servers to join our event team. The ideal candidate will provide excellent service at catered events and banquets while communicating effectively in both Spanish and English. A positive attitude attention to detail and a teamfirst mindset are a must!



Requirements

Responsibilities:

  • Set up tables buffets and service stations according to event specifications.

  • Greet guests and provide prompt courteous food and beverage service.

  • Serve plated meals pour beverages and assist with buffet lines.

  • Maintain the cleanliness of service areas during and after events.

  • Respond to guest needs and special requests professionally.

  • Work closely with kitchen staff and event coordinators to ensure smooth service.

  • Break down and clean up event spaces after service is complete.

  • Follow all health and safety standards.

  • Communicate with team members and guests in both Insert Language and English.

  • Other duties as assigned by the Banquet Captain or Event Manager.

Qualifications:

  • Prior banquet or catering serving experience preferred but not required.

  • Fluent in Spanish and English (spoken; written a must).

  • Excellent communication and customer service skills.

  • Reliable punctual and able to work flexible hours.

  • Able to stand/walk for extended periods and lift to 30 lbs.

  • Teamoriented with a strong work ethic and professional demeanor.

Work Environment:
Fastpaced and dynamic event setting.

Compensation:
$12/hr.



High school diploma or GED. ServSafe food handling certification is preferred. Sound knowledge of cooking methods and techniques. Proven experience working as a Cook. The ability to follow recipes. The ability to work in a team. The ability to stand for extended periods. Effective communication skills.
